Difference Between Congo and Timneh African Grey:

Congo African Grey Parrots are more common. Timneh African Grey Parrots are less Common.
Congo African Grey are larger in size. The gray of Gabon measure between 26 and 35 cm and weighs about 450 grams. Timneh African Grey Parrots are smaller in Size. It measures between 26 and 32.5 cm, almost a third less than the congo grey (Psittacus erithacus erithacus). It weighs between 300 and 400 grams in general.

Congo African Grey Parrots originate in Central Africa, from the southeast portion of the Ivory Coast extending to western Kenya and down to Tanzania and Angola. The origins of the Timneh African Grey Parrot are concentrated in the western coastal regions of Guinea, Ghana and the Ivory Coast of Africa.
Congo African Grey Parrots are talented talkers and begin talking between 12 and 18 months old. Timneh African Grey Parrots begin to talk at approximately 6 months to a year.
Feather plucking habit is more common in Congo African Grey Parrots. Timneh African Grey Parrots has less common habit of feather plucking.
